Winter Wonderland

Today I worked on my project for Joan's Gardens  25th Thursday Challenge and didn't have time to do other stamping, so I am posting another card I created for Heartfelt Creations.

Isn't this new Heartfelt Creations window die beautiful.  One of my favorite things to do in the winter is not to go skiing but to go for a sleigh ride, so I love this stamp.  This stamp is not part of the new Window Scene Collection but is a beautiful scene stamp available from Heartfelt Creations.

The Winter Wonderland scene was stamped and colored with Copic markers. The Fancy Window/Frame was die cut using brown card stock then placed over a piece of black card stock and trimmed with scissors around the edges. The winter scene was trimmed with scissors to fit under the center portion of the window. VersaMark was added over it then it was embossed with Iridescent Ice embossing powder to give it a frosty look. It was then attached to the center of the black background and the brown die cut frame was attached over it. The branch spray was stamped and colored with colored pencils and cut out with scissors. The cardinal was stamped, colored and cut out with matching die. The pine branch was attached to the upper corner and then the red cardinal placed on top. The pretty pine tree ended up being cut off when I trimmed the main image to go under the window, so I trimmed around it and placed it on the lower right side of the scene. The background paper is from the K&Company Yuletide paper pack.

Products used:  1010H Winter Wonderland; 1431D Branch Spray; HCD 708 Fancy Window/Frame Die; HCPC 3353 Cardinal Family PreCut Set; HCD 706 Cardinal Family Diecuts
