I love rock walls. They are quintessentially New England. I would love to have a beautiful rock wall in front of my house. But alas... I do not! These pictures were taken on one of my favorite streets not far from my house. It is one of my happy places. Virtually every house on the street has a beautiful rock wall in front of it. Some of the houses are quite grand, but most are average-sized homes. The rock walls just make them look stately and soooo charming. And with all the leaves on the ground, it's so autumn-y, it makes me want to curl up with a hot chocolate...hmmm...I hear the cocoa calling ;-)
