Finally, I'm always on the lookout for great neighbor gifts.  I loved this take on the ever-popular cookie-in-a-jar by Sense and Simplicity.  Too cute.

First of all, I want to wish a Happy Thanksgiving to all of my American readers!  I hope your tummies are full of turkey and that you all had a wonderful day celebrating all that we have to be thankful for.  I am so grateful for my blessings, my beautiful family, a roof over our heads, food on our table.  And I am grateful for all of you who come to visit here at The Shabby Nest.

The fan favorite from last week was Dimples & Tangles Girl's Bedroom Reveal.  I love this room!  Bold colors, fun details.  Perfect for a spunky little princess!

First up, The Rooster and The Hen shared their beachy glam master bedroom makeover.  I'm loving that DIY palette headboard/wall.  Such a fun way to lend a lot of character to a room for a small investment!

Next,  I am completely enamoured with the stencilled claw foot tub shared by Kammy's Korner.  Makes me wish I had a tub to stencil. sigh.

Finally, I Craft with Love shared the most adorable book page Christmas Trees I've ever seen.  I'm going to have to try my hand at these this year.  Just too cute!

Welcome to this week's edition of Frugal Friday!  So glad you came by...

Last week's party was chock full of inspiration (as usual)...let's start with the Fan Favorite.

Just a note about the Fan Favorite...the winner of Fan Favorite is the post that receives the most "likes".  I think the "like" feature might confuse some Frugal Friday visitors.  It is not the same as "liking" something on Facebook.  It is simply a way for you, the reader, to vote for those posts that you think are particularly good.  And you can vote as many times as you like.  So say you visit 10 different posts and think every one fo them is fabulous...you can "like" all 10 of them!  That's it.  It's just a fun way to get Frugal Friday readers  more involved with the party.  Soooooo after that uber-long explanation...

The Fan Favorite for last week was Liz Marie who shared how to make homemade chalk paint.  With chalk paint taking the DIY world by storm, this is definitely a post worth checking out.

Hey Kids!! Welcome to this week's edition of Frugal Friday!  Last week there were almost 590 posts linked up.  Wow!! That's a lot of great stuff to go through.  And so I've decided that not only am I going to feature some of my favorites each week for my Frugal Round-up, but since there are just soooo many great things being linked up now-a-days (I'm hoping for over 600 links this week!)
