A new challenge today for Magnolia-licious Challenge Blog--our Challenge#3. This is our December colour challenge and Chrissy has chosen the colours pink, blue and green. This is by DT card.

And if you hop over to the challenge blog here, you will see the fabulous cards created by the other DT ladies. Click on their names above the cards and it will take you to their personal blogs and you can read the details of their cards. Or you can click on their names on my side panel.
I hope you will join us in this colour challenge. The prize is a $25 Gift Certificate from Diana's store Magnolia-licious.

This adorable Tilda is called Tilda on Ornament and she is from the new A Merry Little Christmas Collection 2010, available from Diana's on-line store Magnolia-licious.
Oh, I'm also using this card for the following challenges:
7 Kids College Fund Challenge # 9 - Non-traditional Christmas colours.
Dutch Dare Card Challenge #92 - Christmas card/tag or ornament.
Secret Crafters Saturday Challenge # 112 - Christmas.
ABC DT Challenge Blog - Non-Traditional Holiday Colour Challenge.
This is called a buckle card. It's like a gate card, but you add a 'belt' to one side of the card that you insert through a slot/opening that you've cut out on the other side. This is to keep the two side closed. I first saw this type of card on Claudia's blog about a year and a half ago, but this is only my third buckle card. I should really do more of this--I like this style of card.

I've put another image inside the card. This is called Vintage Tilda from the same collection as the image I have used on the front of the card.
If you want to make this buckle cards, once you've decided on the width of your belt--you can make it any size you want (mine is 2 inches wide)-- make the slot/opening 1/8 inch wider .
Thanks so much for dropping by. I really do appreciate your visit during this busy time. I'm sure everybody's scrambling to get their Christmas cards and decorations ready in time. I'm getting a bit panicky myself...LOL.
