Let It Snow
Our weather forecast is for snow this evening or tomorrow. Winter came so fast this year. I am posting a card with my favorite little snowman from Heartfelt Creations. This is another card posted on the Heartfelt Creations blog this week.
The snowman was stamped twice with VersaMark ink – once on white card stock and once on vellum card stock and white embossed. Both were cut out. The image stamped on vellum was colored on the back with markers then attached to the plain image with vellum tape. This gave a little more stability to the image. I love the look of coloring on the back of vellum. The background was embossed with the Cuttlebug Heritage embossing folder and attached to a piece of aqua card stock. The frame was cut out twice with the Spellbinder Classic Frame – once on aqua card stock and once on vellum card stock. The center was taken out and the vellum attached over the aqua card stock. The center of the frame, which is vellum, was white embossed with the Heartfelt Creations Medallion Background. The sentiment is from the Single Snowflakes set. It was cut out with an oval Nestie and sponged prior to taking it out of the die. The snowman and the sentiment were both attached with dimensionals. Martha Stewart snowflakes were added to the card, each with an aqua rhinestone added to the center.
Heartfelt Creations products used: HCPC 3342 Snowmen Melt Your Heart Precut Set; HCPC 3338 Petite Medallion Background Precut set; HCPC 3344 Single Snowflakes Precut set.
Well I am hoping we don't get very much snow. We have had two winters of six feet of snow so hoping this is a mild winter.
