Happy Fall

Is this what your neighborhood looks like?   I love to drive down the street and see all the beautiful autumn colors and big piles of colorful leaves on the ground. I know, it's a lot of work to rake them up, but still they look beautiful.  And oh what fun the kids have playing in them.  Some of my favorite pictures are of my children when they were little, were taken when they were playing in the autumn leaves.

I created this scene using the beautiful "All Seasons Tree" from Heartfelt Creations stamps. The background is a piece of designer paper from The Paper Studio “Mirabelle” paper pack. It is backed with olive card stock. The tree was stamped onto a different piece of design paper and I sponged several different Tim Holtz Distress inks on it. It was attached with adhesive to the background paper. A bunch of small oak leaves from the HFC "Open Falling Leaves" set were stamped using brown ink. They were sponged with several colors of Tim Holtz Distress inks and then cut out with matching dies. The leaves were shaped then attached around the border. The greeting, from the All Seasons Tree set, was stamped with brown ink. A pretty plaid bow was attached to the corner to complete the card.
