Welcome to
"Gitter Done!" - volume 4
I gave you permission HERE to walk away from the computer to get some overdue DIY or non DIY tasks done and over with so you could blog allll about it.
Today's the day to reveal all your hard work! I can't wait to see what you've got. :)
For a long while, I've been feeling a little sorry for myself. For my son's sake. I was wishing some guy friends could get my son involved in the quad or dirt bike world.
And then it happened. Woa... be careful what you wish for!
We got invited on a group wilderness quad themed camping trip, complete with it's own bambi's and teddy bears. ( if you get my drift)
It was the kind of campsite you could park anywhere and call it home. My ride is to the right, my bed is to the left; for we even got towed! (BIG deal for me, thankyouverymuch)

And this is what we saw from our campground. Everyone, meet beautiful Davis Lake, located in BC Canada. This location is near Merritt.
The getaway came with the most unique road traffic ever. Cattle roam the grounds freely and are commonly found on any and all ATV trails.
And make the weirdest pies ever. :)
Here's one of the road trips... to the top of the mountain. Exquisite and so quiet!
The teddy bears didn't come out here, but the moo moos did. This fella was cool. He/she?? just wanted to look. I like lookers just fine!
Did you know loud clapping scares bears away from my trailer?!? Just thought you'd be interested...
So many beautiful things to take pics of, resulting in too little ATV time. So off we went again! (the guys were WAY too patient to allow a photographer type amongst them..)
I LOVE this picture of Gord outfitting my son. Gord and Rosie took us up. Not only are they generous with their time, they're good drivers and cooks too! :)
The kindness and generosity towards my son and I simply took my words away.
And yeah... I drove one too. :) (Thanks Wendy and Gord!) We fit into this annual event like a well worn glove.
It was the ultimate experience for both of us. And here I had planned to build a closet, tweak an armoire or paint some furniture sitting on my patio. Can I just hear an AMEN on how THIS one turned out?!?
I'm entering this one in GD because this dream has long been a goal/hope of mine. And when it came true in lieu of the other duties, it was a total given. Thanks Gord and Rosie for the invite and amazing trip!
Plus... ya gotta be home to do your chores of course.
I also did something else LONG overdue. I'm staging my friend's house as part of a much larger makeover I promised you a year ago. We aren't done yet but got a good start. :)
Ok, and then my palette desk was a doozy. I'm so happy with that silly salvaged thing.
It's been a good summer. :)
So, what did you finally get to this round? Let's see whatcha got in the linkup below!
