Martha Rose
Today I am posting a card I created for the Heartfelt Creations blog post today. This card was created using the beautiful Martha Rose. Isn't it pretty.
This is 5.5” square card. The rose image was stamped six times. The image was colored using colored pencils and OMS. One image was cut into a 5.25“ square. The top corners were punched using the Martha Stewart “String Lace” punch, and the bottom edge created with the matching border punch. Three of the rose images were cut out with the Nestabilities “Large Label” dies, using the three largest dies in the set. Two of roses were cut out and parts of the petals were cut away so I could make the rose dimensional. The rose on the side is also dimensional. The edges of all three sections cut out with the die, were colored using a Krylon 18kt Gold Leafing Pen so they would stand out. Each layer was attached with dimensional dots. The added pieces to the roses were also attached with dimensional dots and the bottom edge had liquid glue applied and pressed down so it does not stick up in the air. The sentiment was stamped with VersaMark Ink and black embossed, then cut out and placed in the lower corner.
