Roundup Of Recent DIY Projects

I have just returned from a few days away with my family enjoying some R&R in Texas, of all places! With Isabella and Max's school on break and having just met the deadlines on a long list of projects, it was the perfect time for a mini vacation. We relaxed, saw a lot of pool time and enjoyed seeing friends from our days in San Francisco, who have since relocated to Texas.

As a result, I'm running behind schedule on new projects! Today while I catch up, working on a client's kitchen and family room redesign, here is a roundup of the projects and tutorials that I've completed over the last few months. When I began this blog, sharing the process of putting together various room designs, I never could have guessed the projects going into these rooms would become a big part of the content on this blog. But as more and more people began asking how to recreate a specific treatment or project, I started including more detail in posts and this has evolved into writing tutorials. It has also been great to work on many of these projects with HGTV.com, and several of these step-by-step articles will be included in a new series on their website. I'll keep you posted when those go live.

So far I have yet to run out of ideas for projects and will continue to post tutorials on a regular basis. I'm having a blast doing this work and love seeing the results when a reader tackles one of the projects themselves. And...if you have any projects you'd like to see me take on, please do share!
