Recently we've been hit hard with Hurricane School. So we as a family have taken a slightly different approach with our staging efforts in order to cope.

1. Son Baking A Cake Vignette
An encouraging activity for those tummy rumbling hungry kids fresh from school. Ensure they make something you like too so you can act out The Little Red Hen segment later as part of their literacy assignment.
2. School Explosion Vignette
A hearty pile of disheveled paperwork proudly pops against the depth of the counter tops to brighten things up. White is always versatile but a splash of strong orange is especially festive for the upcoming fall.
3. Big Honkin' Pile -a- Dishes Vignette
A must have for those that feel like no one ever cooks around here with a shiny clean empty sink. You will feel the love with this look and perhaps even be enticed to add more! It's a very addictive setting.
4. The Whole Dang Box and Bag Vignette
Don't even waste another moment with a handful of this or a little of that! Plunk the entire contents of whatever to encourage that 'just stocked up from Costco' look, even though you really got the goods from some overpriced local store.
5. Just Stocked Up! Vignette
A pile of boxes once holding vinyl sign supplies guarantees you many hours of future prepping pleasure! The look provides a gentle reminder that you DO in fact have something to do in any free second of spare time. Good to know!
6. Back Pack Splash Vignette
This wild wave gone mad of brand new school supplies spreads faster than any tide on the beach! The supplies stay put until your little surfer is ready to hit the big school waves. Helpful to have within tripping distance so you can grab and run while late for the bus.
7. Dumping Ground Dump Vignette
No front entry would be complete without piles of anything that came from everywhere and is nowhere near where it should be. Especially festive when something you've been looking for is lost within it's ever growing depths for weeks and feels like a lottery win when found. Oh what a feeling....
As luck would have it, you're so busy with school that your work area also gets a taste of the party. So when the work phone rings, the paperwork sings! And often in midair, which adds to the bedazzling look of a busy office ready for a big adventure! Best to avoid a decent computer that can handle blogging unless a shovel for paperwork maintenance is desired. (shovel not included in this special offer)
9. The Stop Drop and Run Backpack Vignette
No kids are busy until they come home with a backpack full of homework. Then they're so busy they disappear just like *poof*. A nice accessory to have near you when you're desiring a little much needed 'me' time.
