Before I give you information about my card, I wanted to give you an update on Joan's mom. This is information Joan posted on her blog today: "Things are on hold right now with Joan's Gardens. Mom is dying and we are sitting with her around the clock. She is barely breathing and has been in a coma since Friday. Almost all of her body functions have shut down, but she keeps hanging on. My brother hasn't arrived yet and we are thinking she is waiting for that. There won't be any Challenges this week, but they will continue as soon as possible." Joan does ask that continue to email her your orders and as soon as possible, they will be shipped.

This is another card created with one of the new stamp sets released this week from Heartfelt Creations. This is a 5.5 inch square card. A slightly smaller piece of ivory card stock was cut and scored every quarter inch and placed on the front. The Decorative Vintage Cross was gold embossed four times. One was left without cutting it. The other three were cut with graduating sizes using the Nestabilities 4 dies. The edges of the die cut pieces were trimmed with a Krylon 18kt Gold Leafing Pen. They were attached with dimensional tape. The outside edge of the whole design was also trimmed with the same pen. This piece was attached to the right side of the card. Four Posy Patch Flowers were gold embossed on ivory cardstock and cut out with matching die. Three were placed on the left side of the card and one in the middle of the cross. A few Martha Stewart punched branches were added. The verse from the same set was gold embossed in the inside of the card.
