This year's list of the most popular baby names is out, and the pop culture influence is obvious to anyone who reads it. While we pity the many, many girls who will forever be tied to the Twilight phenomenon thanks to the popularity of the name Isabella, classic names like Olivia and Sophia ruled this year's list. The pop culture breakdown is below. Check out the full list from BabyCenter.com here.
1. Isabella and Bella (Rank: 3rd among girls)

The biggest sensation on the big screen is Twilight, and it's a safe bet the movies and the Young Adult novels have something to do with the popularity of these two names. Isabella Swan (Bella for short of course) is the series' main protagonist and this year Isabella was the fourth most-popular baby name. That's down from first place in 2009 and '10, but still a very strong showing. Meanwhile Bella rose 23 spots this year to place 26th. Somewhere 15 years down the line it's easy to imagine two Isabellas running into each other in high school and sharing a mutual eyeroll over their Twi-hard parents.
2. Mason (3rd among boys)

The number of couples embracing the name Mason has nearly doubled over the past two years, and we're sure the incredibly popular Kardashian family has something to do with that. Kourtney Kardashian and Scott Disick's son, Mason Dash Disick, is adored by fans of the show and he was born in December, 2009. The name bounded up the charts in 2010 and made the top 10 for the first time this year.
3. Aiden (1st among boys)

Aiden has been climbing the baby charts ever since Carrie fell for Aidan Shaw in the third season of Sex and the City. It might be spelled differently, but based on the chart, the show has definitely bumped this name up the ranks. This is the first year Aiden has taken the top spot. Meanwhile some parents simply opted for names that rhymed with it: Jayden, Caden, and Brayden all cracked the top 20.
4. Emma (2nd among girls)

Emma has been one of the most popular baby names in the U.S. ever since Rachel named her baby girl Emma on Friends in 2002. The name has been either first or second in the rankings every year since the episode aired except for 2010 when it dropped to fourth. This year it was edged out of the top spot by Sophia.
5. Aria (65th among girls)
Arya Stark on Game of Thrones. (HBO Entertainment)
In the past year, Aria has jumped 291 places from 356th all the way to 65th. If Twilight has helped make Isabella a popular baby name, perhaps HBO's television adaptation of Game of Thrones has helped move Aria upwards. In the books and on the television show, Arya Stark is the 9-year-old daughter of protagonist Eddard Stark. Unfortunately other Game of Thrones names such as Eddard, Cersei and Daenerys have failed to win favor.
6. Bentley (84th among boys)
Ever since Maci from Teen Mom named her son Bentley, the luxury car brand has become a hot baby name. While it ranked 518th in 2009 it shot up to 101st in 2010 and hit 84th this year.
Other Celebrity Baby Names
These don't carry as close a correlation to any major figures in pop culture, but the names are popular none the less and many have celebrity counterparts.
1. Olivia (4th among girls)
Olivia Wilde and Olivia Munn both had big years in 2011, and it turns out Olivia is one of the top five names for girls for the third year in a row.
2. Grayson (48th among boys)
Perhaps YouTube star Grayson Michael Chance helped get this name into the top 50, but it's been growing in popularity anyway.
3. Harper (60th among girls)
Harper was a hit name this year, moving 34 places up to 60th. Maybe To Kill A Mockingbird author Harper Lee is enjoying some new notoriety, or perhaps some parents were smitten with the name after David and Victoria Beckham named their new daughter Harper Seven.
4. Scarlett (61st among girls)
Are Scarlett Johansson's fans naming babies after her? This name has been steadily climbing the charts since 2003, the year Lost in Translation was released. It cracked the top 100 this year for the first time since at least the 1940s.
